Into the blue: Proof that minke whales really aren't shy!

The bane of many wildlife photographers? Camera-shy animals, of course!  As legions of photographers and videographers will attest, sometimes the perfect shot would be attainable if only nature's creatures would cooperate with the photo set-up.

You almost want to plead with the animal, "Hey, would you  just simply look right here...into the camera?"

That seems to be the case when photographer Krystle Wright wanted to photograph this beautiful minke whale in Antarctica.

It seems that all you really need to do is ask!
