"This was heaven to me. As I’d stand back and watch the wildlife to their thing, some of these elephant seal pups would scoot all the way over to us and just look up with their precious eyes. The pups were nursing so they wanted attention and all the love. It’s important to give them space (15 meters) and a path for them. That in mind I just stayed still in a good area as this one approached and we had a little moment of curiosity with each other. Seconds later it went back to the group and having fun. Little moments like these in life just get me. Unreal experience. 🙏🏻" | A repost via Garrett King (@shortstache). 🚨 Join our webinar tomorrow with Polar Expedition Guide and Marine Biologist Annie Inglis to learn more about the different species of seals, their unique habits and adaptations.
