A hike at Deception Island

February 28, 2013

Adventurous Quark Expeditions passengers take on a sloping hike at Deception Island in late February 2013. The Sea Adventurer is anchored below, shrouded in light mist from the water. The day was clear and warm and the view from the top was absolutely spectacular. Many people had to remove their parkas at the top - a great way to get some exercise and work up an appetite for another amazing meal aboard the Sea Adventurer!
